ABOUT

'The 11%' is a team made up of four female engineering students from Loughborough University. Eleven percent originates from the ratio of females on their engineering course. With this national platform, they hoped to highlight the achievements and successes of women in their discipline alongside inspiring the next generation to take up similar paths.
Consisting of their captain, Georgia, their driver, Mary and two fellow team members, Hannah and Shae, each member brings unique skills to the group. Their captain leads the way as the brains of the group and keeping things on track, whilst never missing a cuppa before an early night. The youngest, their driver brings a creative flare from her outdoor upbringing, but does lack a drivers liscence! Hannah provides the technical knowledge from experience in Formula Student and will not stand for an inch of mess. Last but not least, Shae's fierce competitiveness and stern looks pushed the team to settle for nothing less than a win.
